Mukhlis AbsArt (born 1991) is an independent artist based in Jambi, Indonesia. His artistic practice develops across various mediums, ranging from acrylic paintings on canvas to digital works and GIFs, with an open approach toward exploring new media in the future.

As a self-taught artist, Mukhlis has developed his own visual language through an intuitive and reflective process. His works often originate from experiences he has heard, seen, and personally encountered, making the act of creation a space to respond to everyday life while exploring an ever-growing sense of curiosity. Rather than being bound to a single theme, his practice moves freely—guided by personal interests, visual instincts, and a constant drive to experiment.

Since 2021, Mukhlis has been actively engaged in the NFT and blockchain ecosystem, which marked the beginning of his journey into the broader art world. For him, blockchain is not merely a distribution tool, but a new medium that opens possibilities for artworks to be documented, owned, and accessed within a decentralized space.

Through his practice, Mukhlis sees art as an evolving process of exploration—a way to spark questions, understand experiences, and navigate the relationship between the self, the surrounding environment, and an ever-changing era.
